How Bespea works
Set milestones
Break the project into staged payments with clear acceptance criteria. Both sides agree before work starts.
Submit evidence
Photos, documents and sign-offs against each milestone's criteria.
Approve the work
The client reviews evidence and accepts, or raises issues within a fixed challenge window.
Pay on proof
Approved milestones certify payment readiness. The client pays directly - on time, every time, with a full record.
If nothing is challenged in the agreed window, the milestone is approved by default – so studios are never held hostage. See the full flow →
Protect This Project
One protected project. Everything in writing.
Evidence
Every deliverable backed by proof, agreed up front.
Acceptance
Formal approval against agreed criteria, not mood.
Challenge Window
A fixed time to object. Silence means approval by default.
Proof Pack
The full project record, export ready for your legal advisors.
It protects the client's money, the studio's cashflow and everyone's reputation – and it matters most the day something is questioned.

Questions, answered straight
WhatsApp is where evidence goes to die. Photos with no criteria, approvals nobody can find, and nothing you can hand to an advisor when it goes wrong. Bespea keeps the same photos – but tied to agreed milestones, formal acceptance and a complete record.
No. During the pilot, payments move exactly as they do today, between your accounts. Bespea governs the decision to pay: evidence in, acceptance recorded, release confirmed. Escrow-protected payments are on our roadmap and will only launch through an FCA-regulated payment partner.
You export the Proof Pack: every milestone, every piece of evidence, every approval and objection, time-stamped, in one document your legal or professional advisors can use. Most disputes end when one side sees the record.
Yes. We map the remaining milestones with both parties and start governing from the next payment. Most pilots start mid-project.
Free during the pilot. After that, a simple per-project fee based on project value – see Pricing. No subscriptions during pilot, no surprises.
Then you've learned something important before the next payment, not after. In practice, the party who refuses written acceptance criteria is telling you who they are. We help you introduce it – most resistance disappears when both sides see it protects them too.
